So, you want to be a writer?

Yes. I have completed B. Tech from IIT, done MBA after that. I should start writing books now. This seems to be the trend nowadays. 

Ingredients:  A few friends. Spiced up events from hostel days or the funny incidents you have heard here and there. And a beautiful cum intelligent girl at the centre of everything.

If you have the ingredients ready, here goes the story. The girl must be so beautiful with an aawww figure, for which every male fall for. The hero should see her accidentally. Then, keep on meeting her at different places, different events so on. Until they meet face to face and talk, the most important thing for the affair to bloom. 

As your story is ready, just fill the remaining pages with shayari, jokes and random incidents.

Of course, you most probably would sell if you write such a story and price it at Rs. 100-150 range. At least, you can be sure that your friends and students from your alma mater would buy the book. 

Is it the thing you want?

Is it the ONLY thing you want? 

Nope, definitely. You want to be an author the world praise about. A writer, who can entertain and at the same time motivate, people. You want your talent to be considered genuine. 

In that case, writing a book is not simple. Don’t worry, it is not a Herculean task either. If I can, you very well can. Nothing is impossible in a world where man has conquered continents, scaled Everest and reached space. 

There are things that you need to keep in mind before embarking your dream journey. The basic things do not change. Whatever your dream maybe. 

I am neither a spiritual guru nor a great achiever. But, these are the things I have practically experienced while walking the path to my dream.
